Warren D. Bales, 69, died Monday, June 25, 2007, in Alexander, Iowa. He was born Dec. 1, 1937, at Sedgwick. He was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Jessie Bales; and all of his maternal and paternal grandparents. A veteran of the United States Navy, he is survived by his son, Warren D. Bales, II. of Erie, Pa.; a daughter, Patti Sue Bales of Los Angeles, Calif.; 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Ronald of Paragould, Steve of Jonesboro, and Kelly and Kevin of Paragould. Private services were held in Alexander, Iowa on June 26.
