Garnet Davis, 63, passed away Oct. 23, 2009 at the Taylor House Hospice. Garnet was born January 27, 1946 in Clarion, Iowa, the daughter of James and Venetta (Yoder) Kepler. Garnet worked for Erickson Display Incorporated and recently retired from Owens and Minor Distribution. Garnet was a past President of I.U.E. Local 129. Garnet is survived by her husband, Roger; daughter Tina Flatt; sons, Anthony (Jerusha) Davis and Adam (Beth) Davis; two sisters, Marlene Grove and Sandy Snyder, one brother, Jim (Mary) Kepler; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. A memorial has been established and contributions may be made at the funeral home.
