Marjorie M. Darwin, 64, died Monday, April 11, 1983, in Midland Hospital Center, Midland MI, after a year-long battle with cancer. She was born April 7, 1919, in Iowa. [Boone Township, Wright County, Iowa] As a young girl she moved with her family to Drummond, WI where she graduated from Drummond High School. She married Raymond G. Darwin on September 24, 1941. They moved to Midland, MI in 1951. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Midland, MI. She leaves her husband Raymond; sons, Kenneth R. Darwin of Haslett MI and Keith P. Darwin of Mt. Pleasant MI; daughters Mrs. Larry (Karen) Robert of Lake Jackson TX, and Kathleen Clarke of Lone Pine CA; one sister, Mrs. Sanford (Helen) Sampson of North Fort Myers FL; and six grandchildren. Pastor Bernard G. Philabaum officiated the services at Trinity Lutheran Church and burial will be in Midland Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Ware Smith Funeral Home.
