Gail M. Johnson, 73, died Nov. 29 at St. Joseph Hospital. Services were Dec. 3 at the First Unitarian Church. The body was cremated. Mrs. Johnson was born March 20, 1920, in Eagle Grove, Iowa. She moved to Denver in 1970 and was active in church, political and community affairs. She was president of the board of the First Unitarian Church and was on the board of Capitol Hill United Neighborhoods. She did volunteer work for the Denver Public Library, the Denver Botanic Gardens, KRMA-TV and other community organizations. Survivors include two sons, Stephen of Washington, D.C., and Geoffrey of Iowa City, Iowa; four sisters, Amber Davis of Ames, Iowa, Frances Boring of Detroit, Marjorie Davis of Tucson and Virginia Horton of Mesa, Ariz.; and one granddaughter.
