Mildred McMillan, 99, died Nov. 17, 1993, in St. Mary's Manor, Blue Springs, where she lived. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Washington Cemetery. Miss McMillan was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, and lived in Independence for 50 years before she moved to Blue Springs in 1988. She was a maternal and child-care consultant for the Missouri Bureau of Public Health Nursing, retiring in 1960. She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church, Kansas City. She received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the Bethany School of Nursing, Kansas City, Kan., in 1919, and did graduate work at the University of Minnesota and at the Lobenstein Clinic and Columbia University in New York City. Survivors include two cousins, Frank A. McMillan, Sibley in Jackson County, and Helen Cooley, Lexington, Mo.
