Owen Reid Mason, infant son of A.J. and Megan Mason of Fort Dodge, was born on Friday, August 14, 2009. He passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, August 21, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 4 to 7 P.M. on Thursday with a vigil service at 7 P.M. at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Owen is survived by his parents A.J. and Megan; sister, Macey; grandparents, Lanny and Vicki Parrott of Eagle Grove and Gerald and Barb Mason of Fort Dodge; great-grandparents, Art and Marvel Mason, Gary Chase, Phyllis Parrott and Joan Moskalski; and many aunts, uncles and extended family members. Owen was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Connie Chase, Rosie Harmon, Gerald Parrott and Ron Moskalski. Memorials may be directed to the family for their further discretion.
