Maxine R. Killgore, 73, of 266 24th Ave. SW, died Monday evening, Jan. 3, 1994, in Mercy Medical Center after a brief illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today. The Rev. Norma Spurgin will officiate. Burial: Linwood Cemetery. Surviving, in addition to her husband Ollie, are three daughters, Mary Cordermann and husband Dennis of Madison, Mo., Kay Baldridge and husband Dennis of Cedar Rapids, and Ruth Laackmann and husband Darold of Keystone; three grandchildren, John Cordermann, Joe Baldridge and Catie Baldridge; and a sister, Erma Grempel of Webster City. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Edith Weidemann.

Born Sept. 4, 1920, in Galt, Iowa to John and Rose Heiden Weidemann, she married Ollie L. Killgore on June 6, 1945. Mrs. Killgore was formerly a beautician at Mabeline's Beauty Salon and also worked at Wilson Junior High School as food service manager for 15 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, National Campers and Hikers of America, Sisters of the Skillet and ILLIAMO Airstream Campers Club. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 603 10th St. SE, Cedar Rapids 52403.
