Lenox, Iowa--Kermit "Andy" Wendell Anderson, 78, of Lenox died Nov. 4, 2006, at his home.Graveside services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, at Grove Cemetery with military rites conducted by American Legion Parkinson Post No. 250. Memorials may be given in his name. Ritchie Funeral Home, 124 S. Main St., Lenox had charge of arrangements. Andy Anderson, son of Elsie and Christopher Anderson, was born April 19, 1928, in Alcester, S.D. On Oct. 9, 1955, Andy married Pauline "Petunia" Glick in Wyoming. They owned a tavern in Vincent and moved to Lenox in 1989. Survivors include his wife, Petunia Anderson of Lenox; and sister Vennetta Lund of Eagle Grove. Andy was preceded in death by his parents; brother Dwayne Anderson; and two sisters, Eldred and Lorraine.
