Esther Catherine Funk, 67, died Wednesday, May 24, 1995, in Community Memorial Hospital, Clarion, after a sudden illness. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Elkader, by the Rev. Thomas Rhomberg. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Leonard-Witt Funeral Home, where there will be a rosary at 3 and Scripture service at 5 p.m. Survivors include four sons, Lloyd and David, both of Olathe, Kan., Mike of Clarksville, Tenn., and Daniel of Maynard; three daughters, Marilyn Gonzales of Houston, and Colleen Meyers and Loretta Funk, both of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a brother, Ambrose Loecke of Troy Mills; and three sisters, Joan Frommelt of Eagle Grove, Grace Murphy of Waukon and Kathleen Wiley of Greeley.
