Myrtle M. Shank of 2930 Ingalls Way, Eugene, died February 15, 1979. She was born February 3, 1892 in Goldfield, Iowa, and had been a resident of this area since 1922. Mother of: Florence Nordstrom, Eugene; Mildred Lowery, Veneta; Helen George, Salem; Rex McCready, Springfield; sister of Guy Beisell of Eugene; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Springfield and Eugene Rebekah Lodge. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 19, at 11 a.m. in Lounsbury-Musgrove Funeral Chapel, with Reverend Edward McIndoo officiating. Concluding services private, Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens. Flowers are welcome or memorial gifts to the American Heart Association in care of the Chapel.
