MRS. JOHN S. CRALL

Hester Ann Adams was born October 9, 1839, in Indiana and died at her home in the town of Center, Friday, March 12, after an illness of six weeks. She was united in marriage to John S. Crall, of this place on February 12, 1865, and with the exception of a year spent in Kansas has resided in this locality ever since. She is survived by an aged husband, an adopted daughter, Mrs. Charles Cleveland, of Goldfield, Iowa, four grandchildren, three sisters, and one brother.

Funeral services were held at the home Sunday at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Cummings of the Christian church of Janesville, officiating. Burial in Bethel cemetery. Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Dr. Kirkpatrick, Mr. S. D. Fisher and Mr. and Mrs. Castater of Brodhead, Mrs. Lottie Fisher and the Misses Eva and Wanda Schroeder of Janesville, and Wash Allen from Evansville.
