Oscar Charles Tindall, 70, of Britt, passed away of a heart attack on Monday, May 28, 2001, at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt.Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 31, 2001, at the St. John Lutheran Church in Corwith, with Pastor Caroline Engelbrecht officiating. Interment was in the Corwith Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by the Elmer Wilson American Legion Post #229.

Oscar is survived by his wife, Sylvia of Corwith; his sons, Ken Tindall and his wife, Jana of Aurora, Illinois, Charles Tindall of Corwith and David Tindall and his wife, Connie of Algona; his mother, Edna Tindall; his sister, Natalie Shipman and her husband, Bob; his brother, Duane Tindall; and his sister-in-law, Beverly Tindall, all of Corwith. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Derek, Hannah, Dustin, Devin and Andrew.
