Jennifer Rose Fisher, daughter of Joseph Craig Dolan Jr. and Michelle Kay Boughton was born August 6, 1986 in Webster City and died February 19, 2008 at the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson at the age of 21 years, 6 months and 13 days. Jennifer had suffered Battens disease, a rare medical condition, which among other afflictions, destroyed her eyesight. Jennifer attended school in Rolfe, Goldfield, Rippey, and Grand Junction, later graduating from Iowa Braille Sight Saving School in Vinton, in May of 2006. She enjoyed T-ball, swimming, track, music, Aspire and cheerleading competitions at the Special Olympics. Jennifer had won two gold and one silver medals. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Joseph Dolan, Sr. and David Bisbee. Jennifer is survived by her mother, Michelle Fisher Schlicht and husband Dennis Schlicht, father, Joseph Craig Dolan Jr., brothers, Justin Fisher, Jeff Fisher and Jake Fisher all of Grand Junction, and sister Jacque Fisher of Rolfe, Iowa. She is also survived by Grandmothers June Boughton, Geraldine Bisbee and Gladys Taylor and Grandfather, Joseph Taylor; her cousins, Sean and Josh Hanus, Cassie, Lindsey and Heather Boughton, Ivan, Izaih and Logan Taylor, Laura Ann and Morgan Delp; other relatives and friends.
