Britt woman succumbs to heart attack

BRITT - Mrs. Eleanor Schons, 60, was found dead in her home here Tuesday morning. Dr. Lyle Fuller, Hancock County medical examiner, said death was caused by a heart attack. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church here. The Rev. Justin Kane will officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery with Boughton Funeral Home in charge.

Born April 16, 1900, at Renwick, she was the daughter of Will and Elsie Owens Yeoman. She was married July 18, 1921, to William Schons, at Waterloo. They lived in Fort Madison 33 years and moved here two years ago. He died last February. Mrs. Schons was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Surviving are her father, William Yeoman, Montezuma, Iowa; two brothers, Maynard and George Yeoman, both of Corwith.
