Colleen M. Brower, 68, of Webster City, died Friday February 2, 2007 at the Bethany Manor Care Center in Story City. Mrs. Brower chose to be cremated and no services will be held at this time. Serving the family is the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Colleen Marcia Anderson daughter of Virgil and Viola Peterson Anderson was born August 29, 1938 at Ames, Iowa. She received her education and graduated from Kanawha High School. On August 7, 1954, she married Harold Charles Brower at Eldora. The couple resided in Webster City. She was employed for several years as a secretary by the McMurray Hatchery. Mr. Brower died on May 1, 1998. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Pat Brower; grandson, Travis and wife, Stacey Brower; great grandchildren, Austin and Haley Brower all of St. Louis, Missouri; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Linda Anderson of Lake Cornelia; sisters, Maylene Anderson and Dawn Anderson both of Palm Springs, CA; and sister-in-law, Norma McGimpsey of Wittier, CA. In addition to her husband Harold, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann Anderson and her parents. Mrs. Brower was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City. Her memberships also included, NAMI, Civitan International and the Red Hat Ladies.
