Jennie Eygabroad, 83, of Navarre, FL and formerly of Belmond died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000 at the Gulf Breeze Baptist Hospital, Gulf Breeze, FL. Graveside services were held December 16, 2000 at the Dayton Cemetery in Iowa. Jennie Eygabroad was born on March 8, 1917, in Kanawha, the daughter of Anno and Jennie (Aldrich) Terhark. She attended country schools in the Kanawha area. She married Harry Eygabroad September 28, 1942 in Trenton, MO. The couple lived in Sheffield. They later moved to Belmond, where they lived until moving to Dayton in 1964. Jennie and Harry owned and operated the Dayton DX Gas Station until their retirement. Harry passed away in 1996. Jennie moved to Navarre in 1997. Jennie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harry; eight brothers; and one sister. Survivors include a son, Kenneth and his wife Barbara Eygabroad of Navarre, FL; a daughter, Evelyn and her husband James Sly of Des Moines, and two sisters, Sadie Swenson and Helena Kurtz both of Belmond.
