Betty Lou Thorn was born in El Centro, California on August 13, 1936. She went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Betty served as a food demonstrator at Costco in Redding, CA. She will be greatly missed by her children and their spouses: Gerald Thorn; Ray & Debbie Thorn; Judi & Jim Poling; Sherry & Matt Hageman; and Cindy & Chuck Gaither; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, Timothy Jones; and sister, Beverly Jahr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Thorn. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel, Eureka Way, Redding, CA at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Lawncrest Memorial Park, Redding, CA.
