Peter J. Van Landschoot,77, died at 9:30 a. m. today at the Hamilton County hospital where he had been a patient the past two weeks. His home had been at Armour, South Dakota but because of illness he had been brought to Webster City by ambulance March 9. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a. m. Monday at the St. Joseph Catholic church in Duncombe with the Rev. Father Edward Hayes officiating and burial in the Catholic cemetery at Webster City. Rosary will be at 8 p. m. Sunday at the Foster funeral home.

Peter Jacob Van Landschoot, son of Paul and Delia Van Landschoot, was born Sept. 1, 1879, on a farm near Kamrar, Iowa, When he was just a small boy he moved with his parents to the present VanLandschoot farm northwest of Webster City. He received his elementary schooling in the Center rural school and grew to young manhood in that community. He later moved to Armour, South Dakota where he engaged in farming. He is survived by one brother and one sister. Andrew M. VanLandschoot of Webster City and Mrs. F. J. (Isabelle) Bauman of Aurora, Illinois; five nieces and three nephews: several great-nieces and nephews. Mr. VanLandschoot was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother: Mrs. John (Annie) Mariga, Miss Lucy Van Landschoot, Joseph F. Van Landschoot.
