Miss Lucy Van Landschoot, 69, died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at The Hamilton County hospital where she had been a patient since Sept. 3. She had been in failing health the past four years. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a. m. Saturday at St. Thomas Aquinas church. The Rev. Msgr.A. A. Halbuch will officiate with burial on the family lot in the Catholic cemetery. Rosary will be at 8 p. m. Friday at the Foster funeral home. Lucy Catherine Van Landschoot, daughter of Paul and Della Van Landschoot, was born I March 29, 1887, on a farm six miles northwest of Webster City. She had continued to live on the home place ever since.She received her elementary schooling in the rural schools northwest of Webster City and later attended the Webster City school. She is survived by three brothers and one sister: Joseph and Andrew,with whom she made her home: Peter Van Landschoot of Armor, S, D., and Mrs. F, J. (Isabel) Bauman of Aurora, ILL., five nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Mrs. John (Annie) Mariga. Miss Van Landschoot was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church of Webster City.
