Marion F. Schill, 92, of Eugene, Ore., formerly of Sioux City, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999. Private family services will be held. Burial will be at Fort Dodge, Iowa. Poole-Larson Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Schill was born June 14, 1907, at Vincent, Iowa, the daughter of James and Ellen (Marlow) Sells.
She attended public school in Fort Dodge. She attended Northern Iowa Teachers College and was an elementary school teacher. She married Emerson Schill on June 18, 1930, at Fort Dodge. She enjoyed cooking, Swedish weaving, traveling and reading. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She was active in the women's organization PEO. She also was a hospital volunteer prior to her move to Oregon five years ago. Survivors include her husband of Oregon; two sons, John of Eugene and James of Palos Verdes, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
