Barbara Jean Weltz, of Bonne Terre, passed away on June 29, 2008 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital at the age of 62. She was born December 11, 1945 in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Barbara was a 30 year member of the Savanna Moose Lodge, member of the Bonne Terre VFW Auxillary where she held several offices and a member of the Big River Eagles. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Stuhldryer and Lilla (Askland) Proesch and two brothers, Larry and Sterling. She is survived by her husband, John G. Weltz, Daughter, Gena and husband Gerald Orth and son Jeff and wife Kelly Smith; Grandchildren, Nicole, Ashley, Aarica, Jason, Dylon, Payton and Tyson; Great Granddaughter, Lily; Two sisters, Sandy Watters, Marie and husband Martin Hansen; Four brothers, Dennis and wife Diana Stuhldryer, Reggie and wife Connie Stuhldryer, Curt and wife Pat Stuhldryer, and Arley and wife Linda Stuhldryer.

Visitation Wednesday 5 p.m. at C Z Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Services Thursday at 11 a.m. at C Z Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. John Schneider. Memorials may be made to Siteman Cancer Research Center.
