James Lowell "Butch" Mason Jr., 52, of Greensburg, Ky., died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at his home. Son of Patsy Powell and Keith Riley of Eagle Grove, Iowa, and the late James L. Mason Sr., he was born in Okmulgee, Okla., on July 15, 1953. He was of the Pentecostal faith and was owner and operator of Mason Plumbing. He was married to Tonya "Connie" Lovins on Jan. 28, 1988. She survives. Survivors also include two daughters and sons-in-law, Misty Dawn and Jason Vaughn and Kristina and Robert Barnes, all of Oklahoma; two sons and daughters-in-law, James Robert "B.J." and Kelly Mason and James Michael and Barbie Mason, all of Greensburg; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanette and Gary Raulson of Louisiana and Margaret and David Carson of Oklahoma; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack Edward and Jeanette Mason of Oklahoma; two step-sons, Shannon McCrary and his wife, Melissa, of Indiana and Jay Lovins of Florida; a brother-in-law and his spouse, Ervin Dale and Mary Lovins of Greensburg; four sisters-in-law and spouses, Belinda and Jeff Simpson, Terry Taylor and Scott Morgan, all of Greensburg, and Carol Ploughe and Barbara Adkins, both of Indiana; his father-in-law, Louis Lovins of Greensburg; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral was Saturday, Nov. 12 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Bro. Tim Shockley officiated. Burial was in Conrad Cemetery in Pulaski County, Ky. Pallbearers were Mike Mason, Scott Morgan, B.J. Mason, Keith Riley, Shannon McCrary and Jeff Simpson.
