Edith A. Eddy, 98, Versailles, Missouri died Feb. 1, 2001, at St. Marys Health Center. She was born May 22, 1902, in Livermore, Iowa, a daughter of John and Sena Brovold Rummens. She was married Feb. 21, 1921, in Hardy, Iowa, to James Henry Eddy, who died Jan. 30, 1981. She lived in Laurie for 56 years. Survivors include: two sons, James J. Eddy, Gravois Mills, and Albert Eddy, Marshfield; one daughter, Grace Walters, Versailles; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, one step grandchild and three step great-grandchildren. Two sons, Bill Eddy and Joe Eddy, one daughter, Blanche Sheneman and two grandsons preceded her in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Todd Forman will officiate. Burial in Versailles Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
