Dorothy Burnette Aebly, 85, was placed in the hands of God, December 12, 2005, at home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 17, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7500 Oak, Kansas City, MO 64114. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO.

Mrs. Aebly was born January 1, 1920 in Thor, IA. She attended high school in Spencer, IA. She married Francis M. Aebly on October 12, 1940. Mrs. Aebly worked for Pratt Whitney and Rival Manufacturing. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis M. Aebly and son, Frank M. Aebly. Mrs. Aebly is survived by son, Gary Lee Aebly of the home; three daughters, Dorothy Hood, Kansas City, MO, Frances Aebly, Independence, MO and Carmen Daub, Kansas City, MO; 13 grandchildren; 27 greatgrandchildren; and one great-greatgranddaughter.
