Anna Mae Halfpop, 92, of 302 Second St. N.E. died Saturday (Dec. 2, 1989) at North Iowa Medical Center, Mason City, of natural causes. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church, 119 S. Georgia Ave., with the Rev. Charles Q. Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today and until noon Tuesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 209 Second St. N.E. and at the church one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions may be given to the Anna Mae Halfpop Memorial Fund.

She was born Sept. 11, 1897 in Hudson, a daughter of William J. and Vinnie (Wassam) Buchanan. She moved to Goodell as a child and lived there for a number of years. She was married to Charles Halfpop on March 9, 1948 in Marshalltown. She moved to Mason City in 1959 and had lived here since. She was employed by St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Grandmothers Club.

Survivors include her children, Harry L. Cline, Mrs. Kenneth (Ethel) Harrington, both of Mason City, Roger Cline, Fountain Hills, Ariz., and Mrs. Bernie (Darlene) Buckland, Mason City; 20 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one brother and three children.
