Harry LeRoy Cline, 75, of 24 Registry Park, died Tuesday (Aug. 11, 1992) at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, 119 S. Georgia Ave., with the Rev. Merlin J. Ackerson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 4 p.m. Thursday at Hogan Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E. and one hour prior to the services at the church.

Harry Cline was born May 22, 1917 in Goodell, Iowa, to Lloyd Cline and Anna Mae (Buchanan) Halfpop. He married Wilma Swalve-Odegaard on Aug. 9, 1959, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. He grew up in Belmond and graduated from Belmond High School in 1935. After graduation he moved to Mason City and worked at Damon's. He then worked at Hill Field, Ogden, Utah, until 1944, then returned to Mason City. In 1955 he started Cline's Floor Covering which he owned and operated until his illness. He was an avid Cub and Iowa Hawkeye fan and he enjoyed traveling. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge No. 375.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Cline, Mason City; two sons, Ron Cline, Mason, Mich., and Randall Odegaard, Lake Geneva, Wis.; one daughter, Bonnie Rawding, Mason City; one brother, Roger Cline, Fountain Hills, Ariz.; two sisters, Ethel Harrington, and Darlene Buckland, both of Mason City; five grandchildren, Jason and Alysia Cline, Alana Rawding, and Christopher and Jennifer Odegaard; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Fanchon LaVerna Leath, two brothers, and one sister.
