Gerald Raymond Ratcliff, 66, longtime Webster City resident, died early Tuesday morning {October 19, 1976] at the Hamilton County hospital. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Edward Masters officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.
Gerald Raymond Ratcliff, son of Charlie and Bertha Huisinga Ratcliff, was born April 24, 1910, in Saratoga community, Hamilton County. He was reared and educated in the vicinity. On Aug. 4, 1945, he was married to Hazel Mourlam, and the couple had since resided in Webster City where Mr. Ratcliff worked as a welder at Wilhelm Foundry until 1972 when he retired. He is survived by his wife; three brothers and three sisters: John Ratcliff, Jake Ratcliff and Donald Ratcliff, all of Webster City, Mrs. Martin (Adax) Bige of Webster City, Mrs. Peter (Leona) Bruno of Santa Ana, Calif., and Mrs. William (Betty) Hill Of Fort Dodge. He was preceded in death by his parents.
