Edna Mourlam, 74, longtime rural Woolstock resident, died this morning [February 9, 1984] at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Edward Masters officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Edna Fay Mourlam, daughter of Joseph and Emma Kastler Mourlam, was born Nov. 26, 1909, in Wall Lake Township. She was reared and educated in the Woolstock area and attended rural school there. Since 1927, she had resided on the family farm near Woolstock.

She is survived by three sisters and a brother, Mrs. Nellie Thompson of Clarion, Mrs. Carl (Florence) Heck of Dodge Center, Minn., Mrs. Gerald (Hazel) Ratcliff of Webster City and Louis J. Mourlam of Webster City; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.
