GARABALDI, OR --Dennis (Denny) Paul Northrop, 65, died December 27, 2006, at the hospital in Tillamook, Oregon. The son of Paul and Fern Northrop, Dennis was born November 29, 1941, at Renwick, Iowa. He attended school in Renwick and LuVerne, Iowa. He served in the United States Navy in the 60?s and was a truck driver for many years. Dennis had lived in Garabaldi, Oregon since 1999. He is survived by two sisters, Myrna Hinz of Emporia, Kansas and Lynda Martin of LuVerne, Iowa. Also surviving is Mary Ann Northrop of Darien, Gerogia who was married to Dennis from 1975 to 1998. Preceding Dennis in death were his parents Paul and Fern Northrop, a sister, Elda Fern Northrop and a nephew, Derek Martin. Cremation has taken place and no immediate services are planned.
