One of the pioneer settlers of Wright County, Mrs. Sarah J. Luick, died Wednesday morning at her home a mile northwest of Belmond. Mrs. Luick was 83 years of age and death resulted from a gradual decline. If she had lived until Oct. 16, she and Mr. Luick would have celebrated their sixtieth marriage anniversary. Mrs. Luick was one of the old pioneers who rode in the covered wagon at the pageant given "Homecoming Day" last August. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the home, the Rev. Leinbach in charge.
