Funeral services for Sena Kruger, 91, of George, Lyon county, Iowa were held October 6, 1992 at Central Baptist Church in George, with interment at First Baptist Cemetery, northeast of town. She died Saturday, October 3, 1992 at Lyon Manor Care Center in Rock Rapids.

Sena Luppen was born March 31, 1901 at Kanawha, Iowa. She attended country school.

On March 2, 1931 she married Harm Veer. He died and on September 1, 1945, she married George A. Kruger. They lived in George. He preceded her in death. [18 OCTOBER 1896 -- 3 JUNE 1976]

Survivors include three stepchildren; John H. Kruger of Britt, Iowa, Albertus K. Kruger of Wesley, Iowa and Daryl Kruger of Ellsworth, Minnesota; three step-daughters, Mrs. Sweer (Florence) Arends of Adrian, Minnesota, Mrs. Donald (Viola) Kellen of Aurora, Colorado and Kathryn J. Kruger of Sutherland, Iowa; 26 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Harm (Jennie) Vrieze of Forest City, Iowa and Mrs. Clarence (Anna) Vrieze of Britt.

Mrs. Sena Kruger, 1901-1992

Mrs. Sena Kruger was born March 31, 1901 at Kanawha, Iowa, the daughter of Peter and Della (Jans) Luppen. She attended country school. She married Harm Veer on March 2, 1931. Following his death, she married George A. Kruger on September 1, 1945. They lived near George. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church. Mrs. Kruger was a resident of the Lyon Manor Care Center in Rock Rapids, IA, where she died on Saturday, October 3, 1992 at the age of 91 years, six months, and thee days. She leaves to cherish her memories: three step-sons, John H. and wife Ardell Kruger of Britt, IA; Albertus K and his wife Grace Kruger of Wesley, IA; Daryl G. and wife Carolyn Kruger of Ellsworth, MN; three step-daughters:Florence and husband Donald Kellen of Aurora, CO; Kathryn J. Kruger of Sutherland, IA; 26 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jennie, Mrs. Harm Vrieze, of Forest City, IA; and Anna, Mrs. Clarence Vrieze, of Britt, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; three brothers; two sisters; two infant brothers; one infant sister and one infant great-great-grandson.
