RAY J. DEMARIS, 89, 218 Third Ave., Melbourne Beach, died Thursday. Born in Alexander, Iowa, he moved to Melbourne Beach from Thomasville, Ga., in 1972. He was a retired high school band director. He was Methodist. Survivor: wife, Helen L.
