Henry Dykhuis, 78, Hallock, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 1990, in Cavalier (N.D.) Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Evangelical Free Church, Pembina, N.D. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. prayer service, in Hughes Funeral Home, Hallock, and one hour before services in the church.

Henry Dykhuis was born Aug. 6, 1912 in Alexander, Iowa, the son of Hinderk and Grace Dykhuis. He moved as a child with his family to Hill Township, Kittson County, Minn., where he grew up and later farmed. On June 4, 1937, he married Ruby Gatheridge in Humboldt, Minn. They retired in 1975 and had lived in Pembina since November.

Survivors are his wife, daughters, Grace (Mrs. Larry) Kadolph, Eldora, Iowa., and Judy (Mrs. Richard) Skinner, Pembina, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and sister, Tillie Bernath, Pembina. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ben and Simon.
