Verona Bradfield, of Winona, Minnesota entered eternal life Monday, Feb. 18, 2008. Verona was born in Kanawha, Iowa, Oct. 8, 1914, the daughter of Ben and Julia (Wagoner) Benson. On Aug. 11, 1933, she was united in marriage to Wayne E. “Brad” Bradfield at Sioux Falls, S.D.; he preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1963. They moved with their two daughters to Winona in 1952, where she spent many years as an employee of H. Choate & Co.

Verona is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Patricia Todd of Winona and Micki (Joe) Weimerskirch of Bismarck, N.D., five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A private celebration of Verona’s life is being planned by her family. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Winona. Services entrusted to Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Winona.
