PAULA J. ROWLAND SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

Paula J. Rowland, 52, of 12 Law Lane, formerly of Waterport, died Wednesday of liver complications at her home. Born Aug. 24, 1947, in Garner, Iowa, she was a daughter of Wayne and Viola Thorson Wesenberg. A marriage ended in divorce. Ms. Rowland was a substitute teacher at Lyndonville Central School before moving to Canton several years ago. Surviving are two daughters, Jessica Lynn and Julie Ann Rowland, both of Waterport; a sister, Patricia Weisbrot, Eliot, Maine, two nieces and three nephews. There will be no funeral or calling hours. Burial will be in Goodell, Iowa, at the family's convenience.
