Funeral services for Frederick H. Allison, 75, who died at Ellsworth Hospital on April 6, were held Wednesday, April 9, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls. The Rev. Lewis H. Wunderlich conducted the services and burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Ackley.

Frederick Harrison Allison was born March 8, 1894, at Belmond, the son of John M. and Caroline Hazelow Allison. He married Hattie Abbas at Ackley, May 8, 1919. He was a mechanic and farmed in the Belmond area until retiring in 1942. They moved from Belmond to Iowa Falls in 1966. Mr. Allison was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Hyman-Peavey American Legion Post in Iowa Falls. He was in the armed services during World War II. Survivors include his wife; a brother, Milton of Altadena, California; and a sister, Cornealia Burrows of Altadena. Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers.
