GIBSON CITY, IL - Hazel S. Hill, 84, of Gibson City, died at 10:42 p.m. Friday (Dec. 20, 1996) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Gibson City. Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Pontoppidan Lutheran Church, Elliot, the Rev. Kenneth Ahlstrand officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church Monday. Lamb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Pontoppidan Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Elliott. Memorials may be made to the Pontoppidan Lutheran Church or the donor's choice.

Survivors include three sisters, Myrtle Thedens, Elliott; Ruth Kreis, Blue Island; and Maxine Danas, Chicago; two brothers, Ernest Hill, Albuquerque, N.M.; and Vernon Hill, Gibson City. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Miss Hill was born Sept. 3, 1912, in Kanawha, Iowa, a daughter of Severt and Helen Fossel Hill. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one infant sister. Miss Hill lived in Elliott, Chicago and Gibson City. She was a member of the Pontoppidan Lutheran Church, Elliott.
