STUART - Wayne C. Lewison, 86, of Stuart, Florida and Mountonborough, N.H., died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, in Martin Memorial Hospital South, Port Salerno. He was a native of Kanawha, Iowa. Before retirement, he was the manager of Beebe River Bobbin Co., Hopedale, Mass., for 35 years. He also was a selectman for Plymouth, N.H., and an appraiser for the NH Colonials, Plymouth. He was a member of the United Church of Christ, Plymouth. He was a member of Rotary International and a Mason. He graduated from Iowa State University with a forestry degree.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Opal Munson Lewison. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Virginia H. Lewison; four daughters, Brenda Blunden and husband Bill of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Ingrid Lewison of Seattle, Ruth Hawkensen of Portsmouth, N.J., and Carol Rahim and husband Faruq of Skokie, Ill.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A service will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, at Aycock Funeral Home chapel, Stuart. Those who wish may contribute to the American Heart Association, 1111 S.
