Lila Caroline Baines of Wentzville, Missouri, died on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the age of 88. Loving mother of Walter (Pam) Baines, Barbara Kolby, Beverly Butler, Brenda (Ken) Miller, Benita (Bill) Milligan; and Steven (Tammy) Baines, loving sister of Eva McKinney; cherished grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 10. Services: The Family is being served by The BAUE Funeral Home, 311 Wood Street, O'Fallon, MO where visitation will be held Friday, July 11, 2008 5:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Service 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Baue Funeral Home Chapel, 311 Wood Street, O'Fallon, MO. Interment Clarion Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion, Iowa, Monday, July 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or American Heart Association.

Lila Caroline Baines of Wentzville, Missouri, died on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the age of 88. Dear daughter of the late Julius John and Marie Wilhemena Ipsen Bolgan, Loving mother of Walter (Pam) Baines, Barbara Kolby, Beverly Butler, Brenda (Ken) Miller, Benita (Bill) Milligan; and Steven (Tammy) Baines, loving sister of Eva McKinney; cherished grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 10. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lila Jeannine Cantrell Wilson, sisters Julia Enger and Ella Caroline Bolgan, and her former husband, Harry Benton Baines.

Lila had several careers through her life from housekeeping in homes, doctor's offices, and businesses to assembling skis and furniture. Her biggest love was the career of being a mother to her family whom she dearly loved and cared for.
