GOLDFIELD - Margaret Lund, 93, of Goldfield passed away July 9, 2008 at the Humboldt Care Center South. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Lake Lutheran Church, Goldfield. Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 8 p.m. this evening at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.

Mary Lucile Lerdal was born, December 18, 1914 at home to Hans and Mary (Skiye) Lerdal. She was baptized and confirmed at Lutheran Church. She attended country school and graduated from the Goldfield High School in 1932. She was united in marriage to Nillard Lund from Thor on September 3, 1937. They lived near there for over a year and then moved back to her home where they farmed until Mr. Lund passed away in 1964. From that union came one son, Marlen.

Mrs. Lund is survived by son, Marlen (Karen) Lund of Goldfield; grandchildren, Monica (Scott) Nelson, Rhonda (Dave) Westercamp, and Bernita Lane; great-grandchildren, Collin and Seth Nelson, Brittany and Taylor Westercamp, Dylan and Colby Lane. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Nellard.
