Dustin "Dusty" Johnson, 64, of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away Monday, May 5, 2008, at the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital, Iowa Falls. Funeral services for Dusty Johnson will be 2:00 pm Saturday at the Bethany Lutheran Church, Iowa Falls, with Reverend Bob Miller Officiating. Burial will be at the Northlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa Falls. A time of visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at the Linn's Funeral Home, Iowa Falls, with a Moose Memorial Service at 8:00 pm. Memorials may be directed to the family c/o his wife: Susan Johnson: 925 East Corporation Road, Iowa Falls, Iowa, 50126. The Linn's Funeral Homes Iowa Falls Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Dustin Dean Johnson was born October 8, 1943, at Belmond, Iowa, the son of Harold "Toby" and Gladys [Ladd] Johnson. He attended the Belmond Community Schools graduating with the class of 1962. He also attended the Iowa State Police academy after graduation. On May 20, 1972, Dusty was united in marriage to Susan Marie Stalzer at Iowa Falls, Iowa. To this union two children were born: Stephanie and Ryan. Dusty was employed as a foreman for Iowa Prestressed Concrete, Inc. Iowa Falls. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge # 1331, Iowa Falls, Iowa.

Dusty Johnson is survived by his wife: Sue Johnson of Iowa Falls, Iowa; his two children: Stephanie [Justin] Boor of Iowa Falls, Ryan Johnson of Iowa Falls; one granddaughter: Gretchen Boor of Iowa Falls; one brother: Harold "Duane" [Lea] Johnson of Alameda, California; and one sister: Neoma [Roger] Boyken of Crystal Lake, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents: Toby and Gladys Johnson.
