BELMOND-- Marian L. Pals, 71, of Belmond, died Thursday (May 16, 1996) at the Belmond Community Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Laurence Garrett officiating. Burial will be in the Belmond Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Ewing Funeral Home.

Marian L. Pals was born Oct. 5, 1924, in Belmond. Survivors include one son, Ray Michael of Van Meter; three sisters, Betty Barkema of Belmond, Marcella Cunningham and Delores Robbins, both of Goodell; one brother, LeRoy Green of Belmond; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one sister.
