FARRINGTON, MR. JOHN S., age 79, of Clarion, Iowa, formerly of Adamsville, passed away Monday, July 14, 1997. He was a World War II Veteran and member of the Methodist Faith. Visitation: Thursday, July 17, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Bell Funeral Home in Forestdale. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 18, at 11 a.m. at Midway Cemetery. Rev. Tom Duley will be officiating. He is survived by wife, Myrtle Farrington of Clarion, Iowa; daughter, Tina Ruth (Armond) Pendley of Oakman; sisters, Bessie Gilliam of Forestdale, Louise (Oscar) Lee of Bradford, Marie Farrington of Forestdale, and Vera Jones of Sandusky; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Bell Funeral Home in Forestdale is directing.
