Dorothy Ruth Williams

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 1998, in Canby Alliance Church for Dorothy Ruth Williams, who died June 12 at age 85. Mrs. Williams was born July 8, 1912, in Clarion, Iowa. Her maiden name was Hutchison. She was a homemaker. She lived in Los Angeles and Lookingglass before moving to the Canby area in the early 1970s. She was a member of the church. In 1932, she married James C. Sr.; he died in 1973.

Survivors include her son, James C. Jr. of Canby; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A daughter, Winifred, died in 1989. Interment will be in Lookingglass Cemetery in Roseburg. Arrangements are by Canby Funeral Chapel.
