Roger Lee Gonzolez --A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, July 3, 1998, in Holgate Baptist Church for Roger Lee Gonzolez, who died June 24 apparently of a heart attack at age 50. Mr. Gonzolez was born Nov. 28, 1947, in Clarion, Iowa, and moved to Portland in 1950. He graduated from David Douglas High School. He was a foreman for the James River Corp. Ink Division for more than 25 years, retiring in 1993. In 1970, he married Muriel Reynolds.

Survivors include his wife; daughter, Traci L., and son, Travis, both of Portland; mother, Darlene of Depoe Bay; and brother, Ronnie of Portland. Disposition is by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to the American Diabetes Association, Oregon Affiliate. Arrangements are by Omega Funeral & Cremation Service.
