Jerry "PaPaJRay" Meyer, 67, Jasper, Ga., and formerly of Sarasota, died June 21, 2005, at Northside Hospital-Cherokee in Canton, Ga. Survivors include his wife, Pat; parents Lloyd and Juanita of Eagle Grove, Iowa; sons Tim of Sarasota, Mark of Erie, Colo., and Rick Nadeau of Summerstown, Ontario; daughters Kathleen Lanford of Oakman, Ga., and Chris Shelander of Clearwater; brothers Lloyd II of Carefree, Ariz., Don of Chicago; and nine grandchildren.

A celebration of life memorial service will be from 2 to 4 p.m. July 2 at Covenant Life Presbyterian Church, 8490 McIntosh Road, Sarasota. Cagle Funeral Home, Jasper, is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Papa's Pipeline Inc., 425 Laiken Drive, Jasper, GA 30143.
