Ruth Shanor died May 18, 2005, at age 93. Ruth Focht was born Aug. 14, 1911, in Eagle Grove, Iowa. A homemaker, she moved to Portland in 1970. She married William in 1936; he died in 1987. Survivors include her daughters, Ruth A. Graham, Mary S. McDowell and Roberta L. Morgan; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Remembrances to the Lions Club. Arrangements by Young's.
