Swansea, Massachusetts--SHIRLEY A. CABECEIRAS, 68, of Stevens Road, a retired presser, died Friday at home. She was the wife of the late John P. Cabeceiras. Born in Rowan, Iowa, she was a daughter of the late Vern and Myrtle (Rubendoll) Sharp, and a stepdaughter of Violet Sharp of Augusta, Ga. Mrs. Cabeceiras had been a presser at Rochelle Apparel for many years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the former Hand Club, Fall River. She enjoyed traveling and gardening.

Besides her stepmother, she leaves two daughters, Linda Marie Cabeceiras and Felicia A. Pacheco, both of Fall River; three sons, John P. Cabeceiras Jr. of Fall River, Russell Cabeceiras of Portsmouth, Va., and Robert Cabeceiras of Orange Park, Fla.; two brothers, Eugene and Jack Sharp, both of Spokane, Wash.; a stepbrother, Fred Sharp of Augusta; and four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. She was the sister of the late Mary D. Sharp. The funeral will be private.
