JUNE N. HAYWOOD

Funeral for June N. Haywood will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Bateman Carroll Funeral Home. Mrs. Haywood died of a heart attack at Mount Hood Medical Center on Saturday. She was 60. She was born in 1928 in Galt, Iowa, and attended school in neighboring Clarion. After graduating from Clarion, she and her family moved to Fort Dodge, Iowa, where she later married Ed Haywood. In 1960, she moved to Oregon and settled in Bridal Veil. She was very involved with foster care programs and was a foster mother at the time of her death.

She is survived by three sons, Terry of Troutdale, Steven D. of Salem and Edward L. of New Jersey; a brother, Earl Nelson of Duncombe, Iowa; four sisters, Delores Buske of Fort Dodge, Iola Richey of Des Moines, Iowa, Georgene Richardson of Duncombe, Iowa and Marjorie McCarthy of Hot Springs, S.D.; and two grandchildren.
