Georgia Margaret Morgan, daughter of George W. and Ida Rowland Shaunce, was born September 12 1913, at Eagle Grove. She attended the Eagle Grove High School. On February 16 1935, she and Howard Morgan of Goldfield were united in marriage at the First Baptist parsonage, Eagle Grove, after which they lived on the farm at Eagle Grove where Howard still resides. Mrs. Morgan became ill in 1944 with multiple sclerosis. She moved to the Rotary Ann Nursing facility in July 1976.

Georgia died Monday, September 4 1978, at Rotary Ann, after a very long illness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Eagle Grove, and the Royal Neighbors. Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Arthur Dean. Survivors include her husband and one sister, Mrs. Dennis (Ruby) Moon, plus many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 7 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. Rev. Charles E. Dutton officiated and burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery.
